Bridgit Gread, thinking man’s Uma Thurman

One of the fascinating and colorful characters occasionally refered to collectively by no one in particular as the “latte left” is the enticingly mysterious Brigit Gread.

While she has no blog site of her own, glimpses of her may be caught as she flutters like an exotic butterfly, a welcome addition to the rich and colorful world of the leftist blog.

While her physical beauty may be known only from the crudely drawn satirical sketch above, far more revealing of her inner beauty are the thoughts and musings so generously distributed in cyberspace by the angelic lady herself.

As I look out across the grounds, at the hollyhocks and roses coming into bloom, I can’t help but wonder at the thrill of watching a barefoot, white muslin sundress clad Brigit Gread in soft focus, gently casting rose petals from a rustic wicker basket across a well manicured stretch of lawn.

Still, it would be unfair to regard the lovely Bridgit Gread as a mere beauty, for when the need arises, she has shown herself more than capable of the most deadly verbal karate, more than a match for both raconteur and Internet hack alike.

Indeed, this author is moved to compare her to Tarantino’s most celebrated character (before he became a self indulgent toss bag), Beatrix Kiddo, ably portrayed by the lovely Uma Thurman.

Such a heady mix of intellect, loveliness and killer instinct, is an absolute rarity, but so much more the rewarding for it’s scarcity.
